		<description>Hi Janice, I can let you know when the sap is running and prices.  Then you could either have me order it or you can order from John directly through his website - link posted above.  Either way, I can bring the maple syrup down.  The season and timing depends on the weather, but sometime in March it should start running.  Earlier sap produces a lighter coloured syrup.  Then it switches to amber and ends with darker syrup.  Some people hold off for the amber or dark syrup as a matter of personal taste.  Personally I think it&#039;s all good.</description>
